H145
The H145 helicopter is the perfect choice for space and performance. It is equipped with a high-mounted main rotor and a safe ducted tail rotor, a large cabin and a convenient (one-handed opening and closing) rear hatch, making it a helicopter for many air medical institutions in the United States and the world. The H145 helicopter with its medical interior can accommodate up to four paramedics.
Proven and versatile models
The H145 is part of the Airbus Helicopter multi-function EC145/BK 117 series. At present, more than 1000 planes have been put into use worldwide, with a total of more than 4 million flight hours. With a spacious cabin, compact body and powerful engine, the H145 can meet a variety of mission needs. H145 improvements include: Helionix®Avionics, four-axis autopilot, enhanced power version Arriel 2E engine, Fenestron®Ducted tail rotor, upgraded main reducer and tail reducer.
Flexible and powerful
The H145 has a flat floor and modular cabin, providing flexible installation space for various mission equipment, and can carry 8 to 10 passengers and 1 or 2 pilots. The helicopters can be used to perform a variety of tasks: medical emergency, law enforcement, air operations, commercial or private passenger transport, offshore oil platform support, and more. The interior of the cabin can be quickly and easily modified for different mission needs.
Performance Enhancements
The enhanced Arriel 2E engine and dual full authority electronic engine control (FADEC) of the H145, combined with the upgraded main rotor and tail rotor systems, ensure unprecedented stability in hovering or single engine failure situations. The ducted tail rotor provides the H145 helicopter with safer flight and landing, higher anti-torque control efficiency, reduced power requirements during forward flight, reduced vibration and noise levels, etc. The Fenestron tail rotor used in the H145 is equipped with a new low-maintenance tail rotor reducer, twin tail rotor drives and dual hydraulic circuits. The tail spar is made of a damage resistant composite material.
Safety performance enhancement
New Airbus Helicopter Helionix®Avionics provide an efficient level of safety to unprecedented levels through flight protection systems, pilot assistance and warning devices. Helionix new warning and self-monitoring system complies with updated international avionics standards. In addition, the H145 has a more advanced dual four-axis autopilot with a series of advantages such as high stability and accuracy, unique flight envelope and overrun protection, automatic take-off and hover. Fenestron®The ducted tail rotor, high-mounted main rotor and tail boom are designed to improve operational safety.
Easy maintenance
H145 inherits the rich experience of BK 117/EC 145 series, optimizes regular inspection procedures and maintenance frequency, and ensures high attendance and low maintenance costs. The optional helicopter health monitoring system (HUMS) tracks engine health status in real time according to service conditions, improving helicopter reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
Law enforcement
The H145 can be configured with a modern task management system, ready to go for all kinds of law enforcement tasks '. The helicopter is able to transport 11 officers to the mission site quickly and reliably, making it ideal for special police deployments. Through the spacious and flexible cabin, front infrared camera (FLIR) and daylight camera and other equipment, pilots can easily perform border defense, monitoring and search and rescue tasks while communicating with ground police officers, exchanging information and data. Also supporting the smooth progress of the task are efficient search lights, external winches, and a double-sided cable lowering system. The equipment under development also includes a tactical mission management system and EOS cameras. A cockpit equipped with a night vision image system enhances the operational flexibility of the helicopter.
Emergency Medical Services
Based on the Airbus helicopter H145 and the previous BK117 series, which are widely used in medical emergency missions, the H145 is specially designed for various types of primary/secondary missions and intensive care transportation: spacious side sliding doors and rear opening doors make loading and unloading patients safer and faster. The helicopter's spacious and undivided cabin is suitable for assembling various medical equipment specified by the national medical regulatory agency. The cabin can accommodate one or two stretchers, partial or full medical equipment and 3 medical personnel. Cabin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) interiors are designed in collaboration with leading global suppliers. The stability of the helicopter engine provides a comfortable flight environment for patients and all staff. At the same time, the helicopter external flight sound is low, suitable for flying near hospitals and residential areas.
Offshore Oil and Gas Mission
Long-range flight and passenger capacity (8) make the H145 suitable for passenger transportation tasks in the offshore oil/gas sector. Suitable for the performance of this task features high performance helicopter, small footprint and so on. Thanks to its compact fuselage, the H145 can operate with high performance in confined environments (oil rig apron, etc.). The configurable unit contains all the equipment required for offshore operations: color weather radar system, emergency buoy system, helicopter emergency evacuation lighting (HEEL) and automatic drop emergency locator transmitter
Business Flight
The H145 combines speed and comfort to create a better 'time machine '. The spacious and flexible cabins can be equipped with elegant interiors, such as the Stylence interiors developed by Airbus Helicopters. In addition, Mercedes-Benz designed leather, pure wood interior also makes the cabin more elegant and comfortable. The panoramic windscreen gives both pilot and passenger an excellent view. As the quieter helicopter of its class, the H145 is suitable for taking off and landing in office buildings and residential areas, and can take passengers to any destination. Along with the H135 and EC135, the H145 is one of the few helicopters allowed to fly over the Grand Canyon National Park in the United States. The luggage compartment can be loaded with a large amount of luggage and can be easily loaded and unloaded through the rear door. In-flight entertainment system and adjustable atmosphere lighting for a pleasant flying experience.
Air Operation
The H145 power reserve supports helicopters in all types of aerial operations. The flat cabin floor, side sliding doors and rear opening doors simplify the loading and unloading of large cargo and equipment. The high-performance lifting and hovering of the H145 provides reliable inspection and maintenance services for offshore wind farms. Other tasks that can be performed include: firefighting, transportation, news gathering, etc.
